About Me

Prior to getting my real estate sales license in July 2015, I worked as a special education teacher for the Davis School District. During that time, I taught adult students at a post-high school program called STEPS. STEPS helped transition students from adolescence to adult life by teaching vocational skills, life skills, and social skills. STEPS was a community-based program that gave me the opportunity to travel and meet many different people in the community.

Teaching is my passion, but it was not my first career and in 2015 I felt a need to get back into sales and utilize my MBA that I had earned during my years as a teacher. Real estate was a natural field for me to employ my skills and I have enjoyed my work as a Realtor ever since.

During my time as a sale agent, I have worked with Keller Williams, Utah Real Estate Professionals, and now Realtypath LLC – Executives. At each brokerage, I have had amazing mentorship from great brokers and associates. Each brokerage allowed me to grow in my new career. Keller Williams provided great training and motivational opportunities. At Utah Real Estate Professionals, I was able to work as a leasing agent and a property manager. It was at Utah Real Estate Professionals that I signed my first listing contract and buyer’s agent contract. At Realtypath, I have seen what a local brokerage can do by utilizing technology and education to support and developing agents.

Knowing I needed an edge as an agent, I started looking into credentials I could earn in 2016. After speaking with a friend, I was led to an amazing individual that took me in as a commercial real estate appraiser trainee. The last two years I have focused much of my time and energy doing commercial appraisals for a variety of properties in Utah, Colorado, and Montana. I enjoy the appraising side of real estate and feel it has helped me refine my understanding of the real estate market.

As an agent, it is my duty to uphold the interests of my principal to the best of my ability. I do this using the knowledge and skills I have honed not just over the past few years but over a lifetime. I appreciate the opportunity to work in this profession and look forward too many years I have working to help people achieve their financial goals.
