father, sister, uncle, and cousins, I focus on residential buying and selling with an emphasis on lead, guiding and protecting my clients.While most Realtors learn to market properties after they are licensed,
I was a skilled marketer working with real estate professionals and
home builders before joining the ranks of agents.In my book, My Secret Wealth of Information for Any Seller, I draw on my more than 30 years of real estate experience. Before becoming a Realtor® I was real estate editor for the Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif., one of the prime areas in the country for real estate.I then started a public relations company focusing on marketing for home builders and real estate brokerages in the Palm Springs area before relocating to Utah where I became licensed to sell real estate in 1994.
I focus on fulfilling my clients’ needs as a key goal. I give my buyer and
seller clients personal attention and full disclosure. A trained communicator, I stay in touch with them regularly to keep them informed throughout the buying or selling process.Working with me is going to be different with my passion about helping my clients achieve their real estate goals. My ideal client is someone looking for and appreciative of the wisdom and skill only years in the business brings.
Past accomplishments include the prestigious Leaders in Online Service (LIONS) award for online marketing and from Realtor.com an award for copywriting. I also won two national awards for real estate public relations.
Before starting the process, I like to meet and discuss what's important to my clients so I can effectively represent them as a consultant, negotiator, and the overseer of all the details. My list of real estate honors includes an award of Excellence for Online Marketing from Realtor.com and two national awards for public relations. As a journalist I received awards from the American Society of Interior Designers and the Society of Professional Journalists.

I reside in Utah County with my wife, Cynthia. Together we have three adult children and four grandchildren. My hobbies include writing popular, country and religious songs. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from Sacramento State and a master's degree in mass communication from Brigham Young University with an emphasis on public relations.
Previously we lived in Palm Springs, Calif.
