About Me

Over 53 years at Powder Mountain which my family built and managed for decades made me an expert at resort real estate and ski area management. I have over 30 years of broker experience as a Utah small business leader. I share my wealth of knowledge honestly with my clients. Since the early 1990's, both my husband, Doug and I have specialized in unique ski-in ski-out property at Powder Mountain and vacation homes in Ogden Valley where I was raised on a historic cattle ranch. I learned about construction and property development walking thru fields measuring potential homesites with my grandfather, Alvin Cobabe who ran sheep and cattle with his father before becoming a local community leader and resort founder. I spent my childhood riding on a chairlift or a Caterpillar tractor as my dad built roads and cut ski trails and moved on to manage the ski resort together for three decades. After my family sold the ski area I continued in real estate and owned a fine dining restaurant in Ogden with a catering and events business and had roles in local government and business leadership while I continued to operate the Columbine Inn with my two sons who are now the fifth generation of Cobabes at Powder Mountain bringing the love of skiing and the beautiful surroundings we have been blessed with. I have lived my life loving and caring for “The Mountain” and serving up hometown hospitality and a deep understanding of the local history and culture and have raised my family of skiers as stewards of the land and ambassadors of Powder and providing guests with incredible mountain memories.
