About Me

When I want the freshest meat for my grill, I don't go to the meat counter at the grocery store; I go to Don, the meat guy. When my wife needs the perfect dress for a work presentation, we avoid the mall and go to Main Street's boutiques. When my kids score a goal, we don't run to just any ice cream store; we go to Nielsen's Frozen Custard. When a friend or relative has another baby, we don't grab a gift at a department store; we go to Over the Moon for the best swaddling blankets.

When you want a home in the Salt Lake Valley you have come to the right local Realtor, Britten Martin. In my previous life, I was a stay at home dad to three energetic kids, two cats, and a dog. During this time I volunteered at local charter and public schools as a reading and gym instructor, managed the backstage chaos during school plays, assisted in the birth of my daughter at Lakeview Hospital, blew out my knee playing church basketball, enjoyed many date nights with my wife in downtown Salt Lake City at the Tavernacle piano bar and Eccles Theater, had my knee repaired at the excellent Avenues Surgical Center, indulged in my passion by coaching sports at Hogan Park, cheered for our local baseball team with the family at Smiths Ballpark (go Bees!) and learned to find almost anything, from missing homework to the missing sock. A long-time Utahn, I can find you the right house, neighborhood, property, hair salon, school, bank, hole-in-the-wall-yet-delicious restaurant, builder, Opera, and yes, even the right meat guy. (I can also teach you how to efficiently swaddle a baby.)
