The Tanner Ranch includes 1,717 acres of beautiful mountain lands located just seven miles north of Montpelier, in Bear Lake County, Idaho. The nearby Bear Lake State Park is known as the "Caribbean of the Rockies", and real estate and development is booming in the area. A small creek called Cabin Creek runs through the ranch, along with numerous springs, including a warm spring. The ranch has legal access from the a county maintained gravel road called Pescadero Road, and all services including a small county airport are located just south of the ranch in or around the city of Montpelier. The ranch offers excellent habitat for moose, elk, and deer, all of which inhabit the ranch during most seasons of the year, offering the sportsman excellent private hunting opportunities.
